The menu button gives you convenient access to your favorite Firefox features. Don't like the default arrangement? It's easy to customize. Is there something you use all the time? Try adding it to the main toolbar. We'll show you how.
Customize the menu or the toolbar
You can change the items that appear in the menu or your toolbar.
1. Click the menu button and choose Customize. A special tab will open which allows you to drag and drop items in or out of the menu and the toolbar. Feel free to experiment with what works best for you. You can always start over by clicking the restore Defaults button at the bottom of the screen.
2. When you are done, click the
green Exit Customize button.
Note: Many add-ons come with
buttons that you can add to the
menu or toolbar.
Turn on the Title bar, Menu bar or Bookmarks toolbar
To turn on the Title bar:
1. Click the menu button and choose Customize.
2. Click the Title Bar button in the lower left.
3. Click the green Exit Customize button.
To turn on the Menu bar or Bookmarks toolbar:
1. Click the menu button and choose Customize.
2. Click the Show / Hide Toolbars dropdown menu at the bottom of the screen and choose the items you want to display.
3. Click the green Exit Customize button.
Having problems?
Try restoring the default set of buttons and toolbars by clicking the Restore Defaults button when you are in the customize mode. If that doesn't solve the problem, try these:
* Reset Firefox: this solves problem more easily
* Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware
